Slick Centerline Efficiency

Provides maximum efficiency while smoothing out the ride on various surfaces ranging from smooth concrete to broken pavement. The tread is less critical on the tire's centerline, where the weight of the rider is pushing in a downward direction rather than the cornering forces that occur at the tire's outer edges.

Grooved Outer Tread

Angled grooves at the outer edges of the tread increase cornering traction while providing channels for water evacuation. These grooves allow the Slick to excel in adverse weather conditions while providing additional traction on the occasional broken concrete or dirt path.

Long Lasting Centerline

The centerline of a tire always wears the quickest, which is another reason why the Slick features a smooth section of thick rubber. Minimizing the texture within the centerline extends the tire's lifespan by increasing the amount of rubber that needs to be worn away before the tire is replaced.

Comp Casing

Combines the lightweight efficiency of a single-ply casing with the dependability of a wire bead. Wire bead tires are designed to be used with a tube and therefore are not tubeless compatible.

Tires with wire beads utilize a thin, woven wire throughout the length of the bead to provide strength and proper tire retention. Our wire bead Comp tires feature durable rubber throughout the casing and sidewall to deliver additional puncture protection while ensuring the tires hold up to cornering on asphalt and even the occasional curb rub. Wire bead tires require an inner tube and cannot be set up tubeless.
