The entry into Race Series, EQUIPE R combines technology from the EQUIPE RS system with simplified, everyday utility.

The EQUIPE R is built with Assos' signature A-Lock Engineering construction that adapts technologies from the WorldTour-proven EQUIPE RS. It maintains racingFit stability with a muscle-wrapping butterfly panel and the new Type.443 textile, which compresses and breathes like the EQUIPE RS, but with a deeper black color. Monofilament elastic in the bib straps reduces weight and dries faster than dual-layer models, and the shorts are equipped with Assos' core racing insert.

The Type.443 textile is a compressive, abrasion-resistant warp knit that mirrors the weight and compressive stability of the Type.441 from the EQUIPE RS series. It is extremely breathable and supportive, featuring a deeper, more intense shade of black as well as UPF 50+ protection.

Assos racingFit fits like a second skin and creates an aerodynamic silhouette. Micro-fitted shaping wraps around large muscles and provides compressive support with a standard leg length.

• Ultralight Leg Grippers: Lighter than anything outside the Racing Series, featuring compressive elastic bands and the protection of a Microdot silicone coating.

• X-Frame: The EQUIPE RS Series' A-shaped frame prevents sagging in the lower back and stabilizes the pad and main body during high-intensity rides.

• Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: Compressive foams in a breathable 9mm race model. Thermoformed cut reduces annoying transitions and friction.

• 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer perforated foam that increases breathability without adding excess weight.

• GoldenGate: A stitch pattern where the front and back are attached, but the padding is free to move with you instead of against you.
