Details

The Artech Disc features a carbon fibre monocoque rim shaped with the brand’s “Algorithm Enhanced Aerodynamics (AEA)” design and “Aeroscales” surface texture to stabilise airflow and reduce drag. The rim is tubeless-ready with a hooked tyre bed, compatible with clincher or tubeless tyres. The 3D-printed Scalmalloy hub body keeps hub weight low while delivering strength and stiffness. The wheel uses Scope’s Diamond Ratchet SL engagement system for quick, reliable power transfer. The spoke build, hub design and rim construction combine to deliver a stiff, responsive rear platform ideal for acceleration, sustained speed and refined handling.

Specifications

The wheel uses a 12×142 mm thru-axle system and Centerlock disc-brake mount. Rim internal width is 23 mm with an external width of 31 mm. The wheel can run clincher or tubeless tyres, optimally in the 28 mm range but compatible with a broader tyre width spectrum. The total claimed weight is 890 g for the rear wheel, making it among the lightest disc-rear wheels in its class. Maximum tyre pressure is specified at 8.6 bar (≈ 125 psi).
