Description

The MAAP Evade X Sock is a cycling-specific performance sock built for riders who know that small kit details add up fast over long kilometres. Whether you're climbing the Ghats outside Pune, spinning through Chennai's coastal humidity, or grinding early-morning laps in Delhi, a well-made sock manages sweat, reduces friction, and keeps your feet comfortable when conditions push back.

Our Take

MAAP's Evade X Sock earns its place in an Indian rider's kit drawer. In 35°C+ heat, breathability isn't optional — it's essential. The performance fabric construction keeps moisture moving away from your skin, which matters whether you're on a Hyderabad flatland ride or a sustained Lonavala climb. Lightweight and precise-fitting, this is the kind of sock you stop noticing after the first few kilometres, which is exactly the point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

MAAP socks follow EU/UK shoe sizing conventions. Most Indian riders find their standard shoe size translates directly, but if you're between sizes, go up one. Feet tend to swell in sustained heat, so a slightly roomier fit prevents friction on longer rides. Refer to the MAAP size chart at checkout and match against your cycling shoe size, not street shoe size.

Compatibility Notes

These socks work across road, gravel, and endurance cycling disciplines and fit comfortably inside any standard road or mountain cycling shoe. Machine washable — follow care label instructions and avoid tumble drying to preserve fabric integrity. Designed to pair with the broader MAAP apparel system for a coordinated kit.

Pairs Well With

Round out your kit with a breathable MAAP cycling jersey, a well-ventilated road helmet, quality clipless cycling shoes, and a moisture-wicking base layer — all available at Cobbled Climbs for a complete head-to-toe setup suited to Indian riding conditions.

Fitting

MAAP socks are sized according to EU/UK shoe size conventions. Match your cycling shoe size — not your everyday street shoe size — to the MAAP size chart for the best fit. Indian riders between sizes are advised to size up, particularly for long rides in hot conditions where feet swell. Refer to the official MAAP size guide available on the product page before ordering.
