EVO5 2026 S Series Disc Brake Wheelset

The Farsports EVO5 2026 S Series Disc Brake Wheelset is a full-carbon road wheelset built for riders who demand serious aerodynamic performance without compromising on reliability. Designed around disc brake standards and engineered for competitive road cycling, these wheels bring track-inspired construction to demanding climbs, fast descents, and everything in between — including India's increasingly varied road surfaces.

Our Take

At Rs. 1,54,999, the EVO5 2026 S Series positions itself as a premium performance upgrade for committed road cyclists. The disc brake platform means confident braking on the steep descents of Lonavala, Khandala, and the Nilgiris around Ooty — where rim brake fade is a real concern in monsoon conditions. The carbon construction keeps weight down while the aerodynamic profile rewards riders chasing speed on flatter Pune or Delhi club rides. For the serious Indian road cyclist ready to invest in a genuine performance wheelset, this is a compelling choice.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset sizing here refers to axle standards and rotor compatibility rather than clothing size. Most Indian road bikes run 12mm thru-axles front and rear; confirm your frame and fork specifications before ordering. Riders in high-heat regions like Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad will appreciate that disc brakes eliminate heat build-up at the rim during long descents — a significant advantage over rim brake wheels in Indian summer conditions.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for disc brake road frames with standard thru-axle mounting. Compatible with tubeless-ready tyre setups as well as clincher configurations — verify tyre width clearance with your frame. Rotors are sold separately; check your brake calliper specification for correct rotor sizing. Centre-lock or 6-bolt rotor interface should be confirmed against your groupset. Clean and inspect spoke tension periodically, especially after rough road sections.

Pairs Well With

Complete the build with a high-performance road tyre from our tyres collection, a matching disc brake groupset or groupset components, quality bar tape and cockpit components for comfort on long rides, and a track pump with pressure gauge to keep these carbon wheels running at optimal tyre pressure.
