Derailleur Hanger for Ridley

The Pilo D816 is a precision-machined derailleur hanger engineered specifically for Ridley frames. A small but critical component, the derailleur hanger acts as a sacrificial link between your rear derailleur and frame — protecting your frame from costly impact damage on everything from smooth Pune roads to the rough tarmac of Ooty's descents.

Our Take

Indian roads demand a spare derailleur hanger in every kit bag. From pothole strikes in Delhi traffic to a tumble on the Lonavala switchbacks, a bent or snapped hanger can end your ride instantly. The Pilo D816 is CNC-machined to exact Ridley specifications, meaning the derailleur alignment is precise and shifting stays accurate. At under Rs. 5,000, keeping one spare is a no-brainer for any Ridley owner riding Indian roads seriously.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Derailleur hangers are frame-specific, not rider-specific — sizing here means model compatibility, not body fit. The D816 is designed exclusively for Ridley frames. Before ordering, confirm your Ridley frame model against Pilo's compatibility list. When in doubt, contact Cobbled Climbs with your frame model and year for confirmation before purchase.

Compatibility Notes

The Pilo D816 is compatible with Ridley frames that use the D816 hanger specification. It works across groupset brands — Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo — as long as your Ridley frame takes this hanger pattern. Fitting requires standard Allen keys. Always carry a spare, especially during multi-day rides or touring.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain protection kit with a rear derailleur from Shimano or SRAM, a quality chain and quick-links for trailside repairs, a compact multi-tool with Allen key heads, and a durable rear derailleur guard for extra protection on rough terrain.
