HUSKE 9x100mm Quick Release Plugs - No Axle

The SeaSucker Huske 9mm Quick Release Plugs in Black are a compact but essential accessory for cyclists who use SeaSucker vacuum-mount bike carriers. Designed specifically for 9mm quick release axle bikes, these plugs allow your fork to sit securely in the Huske fork mount without any wobble or play — a must-have for safe transport on long highway drives from Pune to Mumbai or on mountain roads heading into the Nilgiris.

Our Take

If you use a SeaSucker bike rack and own a bike with a 9mm quick release fork, these plugs are not optional — they are the piece that makes your setup work correctly. Indian roads can be unpredictable, with speed bumps, potholes, and uneven surfaces common even on national highways. The Huske plugs keep your fork firmly seated during transport, giving you confidence whether you are heading to a weekend ride in Lonavala or driving across Hyderabad to meet your group. A small investment that protects a much larger one.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These plugs are made specifically for 9mm quick release axles — the standard found on most traditional road and mountain bikes before thru-axle designs became widespread. If your bike has a 9mm QR fork, these are the correct fit. If you are unsure, check your fork's dropout width. No sizing variance applies here; it is a fitment specification, not a size range.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with SeaSucker Huske fork mount systems and 9mm quick release axle forks. Not suitable for 12mm or 15mm thru-axle forks — SeaSucker offers separate thru-axle plug variants for those standards. No special tools are required for installation. Store away from prolonged direct sunlight when not in use to maintain the plastic's integrity in high-heat Indian conditions.

Pairs Well With

These plugs make most sense alongside a SeaSucker Huske fork mount or a full SeaSucker bike carrier system. Consider pairing with a quality bike travel bag for added protection, a torque wrench for safe axle installation, or a set of frame protection pads for transport.
