Description
The MAAP Training Sock is a cycling-specific sock built from a mesh, nylon, and polyester blend that targets moisture management and all-day comfort. Priced at Rs. 2,400 and available in White, White Fluoro Lime, and White Purple, it is a practical upgrade for Indian riders who spend serious time in the saddle across varying conditions.
Our Take
In India's punishing heat — whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats from Pune, tackling early morning laps around Hyderabad's Hussain Sagar, or packing in long kilometres through Coorg's rolling roads — feet sweat, and socks matter more than most riders admit. The MAAP Training Sock's moisture-wicking fabric and stretchable construction keep feet dry and comfortable across long hours in the saddle. A solid everyday choice selected for Indian conditions.
Sizing for Indian Riders
MAAP socks follow EU/UK sizing conversions based on shoe length. Most Indian riders find their standard shoe size translates directly, though those on the border between sizes may prefer to size up for a more relaxed toe box fit — particularly useful in hot weather when feet swell slightly over long rides. Refer to the MAAP size chart at checkout.
Compatibility Notes
The Training Sock works across all cycling disciplines — road, gravel, and commuting. The stretchable fabric fits securely inside standard road and MTB cycling shoes. Machine washable; follow the care label to preserve fabric performance. Pairs naturally with other MAAP apparel pieces for a unified kit approach.
Pairs Well With
Round out your kit with a breathable cycling jersey, lightweight bib shorts, and a well-ventilated road helmet for hot-weather riding. Adding a quality base layer for cooler Leh or Ooty mornings completes a versatile all-season setup.
